New Mexico State coach Doug Martin said special teams were a major concern ahead of Saturday’s battle of Aggies at Kyle Field. New Mexico State suffered a string of miscues last week in a 22-19 loss to Sun Belt Conference rival Georgia Southern.
“We really should have won the game,” Martin said on the Sun Belt coaches’ teleconference. “We gave the game away in the kicking game. We had a fumble on a kickoff return, a blocked punt, a missed field goal.
