Texas A&M OL coach Jim Turner won't return next season, set to take same position with Cincinnati Bengals

Texas A&M offensive line coach Jim Turner is headed back to the NFL.

Jimbo Fisher announced Wednesday afternoon the A&M assistant will not be returning to the Aggies' coaching staff next season. Turner is reportedly set to join the Cincinnati Bengals staff in the same role under new head coach Zac Taylor.

Fisher added that Turner's replacement "will happen very, very, very, very quickly."

Taylor, 35, has worked with Turner throughout the majority of his young coaching career.

Turner was the offensive line coach at A&M during the same years (2008-11) Taylor was an offensive graduate assistant for the Aggies under head coach Mike Sherman.
