Le'Veon Moss, Texas A&M's leading rusher, suffered a season-ending leg injury in the Aggies' 44-20 loss to South Carolina this weekend, coach Mike Elko announced on Monday.

Moss had two carries for eight yards in the first quarter against the Gamecocks before he was injured on a hit and carted off the field.

Moss had run for 765 yards and 10 carries this year, averaging 6.3 yards per rush. He was a dependable weapon for the Aggies, with multiple rushing touchdowns in three straight games, last done at A&M by Trayveon Williams in 2018.
