One of Texas A&M's top linebackers will be out for the rest of the year.
A&M sophomore Anthony Hines reinjured a lower leg injury, coach Jimbo Fisher said on Wednesday morning's SEC teleconference.
Hines, who missed A&M's opener against Northwestern State, appeared to suffer a lower leg injury late in last Saturday's 28-26 loss to Clemson.
With 2:03 left in the game, the former Plano East standout went down with a non-contact injury. Hines gingerly walked off the field.
Hines did not register a tackle against Clemson. Last week, Fisher said he'd like more linebacker depth for the Aggies' 4-2-5 defense.
