Texas A&M has lots of holes to fill on its defensive line after losing three seniors -- Kingsley Keke, Daylon Mack and Landis Durham -- from its stout 2018 squad.
The lone returner, redshirt junior Justin Madubuike (6-3, 300), has high expectations following a standout sophomore season. The McKinney North product recorded 5.5 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss, proving his worth as a ball hawk, too, after forcing three fumbles.
Madubuike was named the team's Defensive MVP in 2018, winning the award during spring ball last season, too. He didn't earn all-conference honors amidst a strong defensive line unit across the SEC, but will likely be a preseason All-SEC member in 2019.
