Texas A&M key spring issue No. 1: Can Aggies start moving toward becoming a championship-contending team?

Jimbo Fisher was hired by Texas A&M for one sole reason -- to win national championships.

The Aggies have already jumped the gun, as A&M Chancellor John Sharp gave A&M's new head coach a blank national title plaque earlier this month telling him to fill it in.

In 11 days, Fisher will begin to field his first squad in Aggieland when A&M begins spring practice. Since coming to College Station in early December, Fisher has assembled an all-star coaching staff, salvaged an average recruiting class and had plenty of time to study film on returning players.

Now it is time for the Aggies to take the field under the man they believe can take them to the pinnacle of college football.
