Texas A&M has missed the presence of senior guard Admon Gilder on the court this season, and the former Dallas Madison standout explained why he's been sidelined this year in an Instagram post Friday morning.
Gilder, who was ruled out indefinitely by A&M head coach Billy Kennedy last month with an undisclosed injury, said he was diagnosed with blood clot in his bicep in the preseason, causing him to sit indefinitely during the Aggies' 2018-19 campaign.
"I want to thank my family and friends for being there for me during my tough times. Prior to this year 2018-2019 basketball season I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my bicep that has caused me to be out of basketball indefinitely this year.
