On Friday, it was announced that Texas A&M and Texas will face off on the basketball court in December in a neutral site game.
The two teams make up one of the biggest rivalries in all of college sports, dating back to 1915.
On the football field, Texas A&M football had played against Texas every single year from 1915 to 2011. The rivalry was put on hold after the 2011 season, as Texas A&M moved from the Big 12 Conference to the SEC.
Since then, the two teams have not played each other in any capacity on the football field.
