There was little chance Texas A&M football was qualifying for the College Football Playoff this season even with a win at Mississippi State — they were and still aren’t technically eliminated from winning the SEC West — but they definitely were still in the running for a coveted spot in one of the New Years Six bowl games.
That changed with a loss to Mississippi State. Now with three losses on the year, Jimbo Fisher is searching for answers for a struggling offense that has scored no more than two touchdowns in regulation against SEC opponents.
You would think the loss to Mississippi State would have altered the bowl projections for the Aggies.
