Two different entities are attempting to cash in on America’s obsession with football. The NFL has been the biggest and most successful league among the major professional sports leagues for years because of the popularity of the sport. The XFL is set to reboot in 2020, and the Alliance of American Football (AAF) had its inaugural games this weekend. A former Texas A&M football player made one of the first highlights for the league.
Shaan Washington is one of several former Aggie players participating in this new league which is being pegged as a developmental league for the NFL, similar to the G-League for the NBA or MLB’s many different farm system teams.
