Trevor Knight was a fan-favorite in his one year at Texas A&M. He led the team to a hot start and had them in the conversation for the College Football Playoff. They ranked fourth in the very first rankings released that season.
As was typical for the Aggies, they faltered in November. They lost three of their last four regular season games and would go on to lose to Kansas State in the Texas Bowl. Knight completed 53.3 percent of his passes for 2,432 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his one season with the Aggies. He also ran for 614 yards and 10 touchdowns.
