Texas A&M football: Trayveon Williams going home to Houston?

When Jimbo Fisher took over as head coach for Texas A&M football, it was clear to anyone who had watched his career at Florida State he would lean on a running back if he felt that running back was good enough to handle it. He did this with Dalvin Cook and most predicted he would do it with Trayveon Williams.

Williams was the best offensive player for the Aggies by a landslide in 2018. He also will go down as one of the best running backs to ever set foot on Texas A&M’s campus. In just one season with Fisher, he broke the school single season record for rushing yards, yards from scrimmage, and all-purpose yards.
