Texas A&M Football: Too many teams sleeping on Armani Watts in 2018 NFL Draft

Texas A&M had a safety selected on day two of last year’s draft when Justin Evans was taken 50th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It’s entirely possible that the Aggies will replicate that feat if Armani Watts is off the board early in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft.

In four seasons in Aggieland, Watts registered 10 interceptions, 17 passes defended, seven forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. It was rare when a big play was made on defense that Watts wasn’t a part of, but that’s not the only thing that makes his a potential day candidate for this year’s draft.
