Texas A&M Football’s season opener against Texas State might not be the most challenging game, but the Aggies still have a job to do on Thursday night.
The Texas State Bobcats don’t exactly scream elite. The Bobcats are in the Sun Belt, which is perhaps the lowest-ranking FBS conference. The Bobcats have played in just two bowl games in their history and they finished with a 3-9 record last season.
So the Aggies should win this one fairly easily. Not to mention that the Aggies are ranked in the top-15 in every single preseason poll and that they have home field advantage for the game.
