LSU better watch their backs.
Third-year coach Kevin Sumlin brought the Texas A&M Aggies to Lake Bryan for some unorthodox training, reminiscent of Navy SEALS and Marines’ “Hell Week.”
If you saw American Sniper or Lone Survivor, it may look familiar.
Assistant coaches tweeted pictures Thursday of the players walking into the lake with arms linked together. In another post, a short video showed players crawling on their elbows along the muddy shore of the lake, heads ducked low under imaginary machine gun fire.
Known for his creative approach to coaching, Sumlin is hoping improved leadership and teambuilding will improve the Aggies’ play on the field as well.
