Rivalry week in college football doesn’t feel the same anymore. The SEC moved LSU into that slot for Texas A&M football after it couldn’t come to an agreement with their in-state rival, the Texas Longhorns, when the Aggies left for the SEC.
Twitter, message boards and family living rooms in Texas have been ripe with debate ever since.
Texas A&M believes it is in the right due to Texas’ greediness with the Longhorn Network and the overall instability of the Big 12 at the time. They saw an opportunity to get better by being in the SEC and took it.
