Everyone take a deep breath. While you may initially feel anxious about the fact that Jimbo Fisher has yet to officially sign his contract with Texas A&M football, there is no reason to fret.
Shannon Najmabadi of the Texas Tribune released a long report of the reasons Fisher has yet to put pen to paper on his massive 10-year, $75 million contract. You’d think with an offer that huge Fisher would have signed in faster than an Aggie can say “gig em.”
Well, it would appear that there are some subtleties the layman like you and I are not privy to, such as the new federal tax code being changed, that are making Texas A&M take its time in delivering a full contract to Fisher.
