Kalvin Cline was targeted one time this season in a blowout win over New Mexico State. He made it count, hauling in his one reception for a 17 yard touchdown.
Recap
Cline transferred to Texas A&M from Virgina Tech where he caught 27 passes in two seasons. He probably had higher aspirations when he committed to join the Aggies last year.
There isn’t much to say specifically about Cline, but the bigger question of how tight ends are utilized in this offense looms large. Cameron Clear, Jordan Davis, and Tanner Schorp have all come through A&M under head coach Kevin Sumlin and none of them has done anything significant.
