Texas A&M football: Scouting report, preview of Alabama matchup

You would be hard pressed to find a tougher opening month of the season than the one Texas A&M football has to tread through in September.

Not only to they play Clemson, who made the College Football Playoff in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year (as far as rebuilding goes for Dabo Swiney, anyways), but they also go to Tuscaloosa to play Alabama, the defending national champions.

They also face a scrappy Arkansas team with a new head coach that’s an Aggie graduate and their defensive coordinator just so happens to be John Chavis, who held that position for three seasons with Kevin Sumlin.
