Texas A&M football got some bad, but expected, news when 4-star quarterback Grant Gunnell announced he would follow Kevin Sumlin to play for the Arizona Wildcats.
His de-commitment was a big loss for the Aggies, as it left them without a quarterback for the 2019 class, but not one they would not be able to recover from.
In what seems to be typical Jimbo Fisher fashion at this point, he already had a plan B in place that is coming to fruition. 3-star quarterback Zach Calzada from Buford, Georgia gave his verbal commitment to the Aggies on Thursday afternoon.
