Jimbo Fisher wants to run the ball. Anyone who paid attention to his career at Florida State knew he was going to be making wholesale changes to the Texas A&M offense. Perhaps none were going to benefit more from this than Texas A&M football running back Trayveon Williams.
Williams bared the fruits of these offensive changes into one of the best seasons by an Aggie running back. He set the school’s single-season rushing record with 1,760 yards, the single-season yards from scrimmage record with 2,038 total yards, had more 200+ yard rushing games than any Aggie ever, and finished his career third on the A&M rushing yards list.
