Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett was named a semi-finalist for the Lombardi Award.
The Texas A&M football team once again features one of the most gifted athletes in the nation under head coach Kevin Sumlin’s watch. Sophomore defensive end Myles Garrett has been named a semi-finalist for the Lombardi Award which goes to the best lineman in college football.

The Aggies have filled their trophy case with awards ever since Sumlin’s arrival on campus in 2012. He has coached at least one All-American every season, including a Heisman Trophy winner in Johnny Manziel and an Outland Trophy winner in Luke Joeckel.
