Texas A&M Football: Mond needs huge game against Lamar

Texas A&M Football’s offense left little to be desired in Saturday’s 24-10 loss to Clemson.

Unfortunately, quarterback Kellen Mond was right in the middle of the action, or lack thereof.

Mond frequently looked off against the Tigers. On the first drive, Mond missed a pair of throws to open up the game that would prove crucial later on. The first through was a potential 20-yard gain, while the second was a missed deep throw to a wide open receiver, a throw that would have been a touchdown on the second play of the game.

Mond’s struggles would only continue from there, as he just looked off all day, missing guys left and right, high and low, and serving no aide to the comeback efforts.
