As Texas A&M Football‘s season grows closer-and-closer, the Aggies’ season is gaining buildup due to some preseason honors.
This time, it was quarterback Kellen Mond who received an honor. That honor was being named to the preseason watchlist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.
The Camp Award is one of the biggest in college football, as it is given to the best player in the country. The Camp Award is not as big as the Heisman Trophy, however it is sort of the same representation, as commonly the Camp Award winner is at least a Heisman Finalist, and visa-versa.
