Despite the stigma that football can be played in any weather, Texas A&M football decided against competing with Mother Nature on Saturday for the Maroon And White Game, the team’s annual game after spring practices.
Storms are expected to hit College Station on Saturday, to the point that the weather forecast predicted 100 percent chance of rain plus lightning. In order to protect fan and player safety, the school has moved the game up to Friday.
