While junior college might be a somewhat common route for aspiring football players, the method in which a Texas A&M football commit is doing so is not conventional.
Josh Ellison, a four-star defensive tackle, has decided that he will play the first season of his college career at Blinn College before he will transfer to Texas A&M prior to the 2020 football season.
The main reason why Ellison is not going to attend Texas A&M right off the bat is his grades, as the rising freshman likely wouldn’t have been eligible to compete for the upcoming season.
