Johnny Manziel still has his sights set on a return to the NFL. His next step to achieving that comeback was the Spring League, a developmental league for NFL hopefuls and cast outs. While there were some notable names on the rosters (i.e. Ben Tate, Zach Mettenberger) all eyes were on Manziel. He did not disappoint.
Manziel completed 9-of-15 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in his Spring League debut, albeit in a losing effort. His second and final game featured a pair of plays that looked a lot like the classic Manziel magic fans saw in college.
