Jimbo Fisher’s first full recruiting cycle for Texas A&M football could hardly have gone better. It officially finished No. 4 in the 2019 class rankings, though Bru McCoy should be removed from Texas’ class and they should be bumped back to No. 6 where they were before he was released by USC and signed with Texas (only to go back to USC in the last couple weeks), putting A&M back in that No. 3 slot behind Alabama and Georgia.
Jimbo got several elite players from Texas to join via the 2019 class, but what some failed to give him credit for is hitting his old pipelines to bring in recruits from out of state.
