It’s only June of 2019, but Jimbo Fisher may have already locked up his most important recruit for the 2021 class for Texas A&M football. It’s rare to get a commitment for a class two years in advance. Even the earliest of commitments usually happen after the February signing day of the class prior — it sort of marks the beginning of the recruiting process for the next class.
That’s not the case for 4-star quarterback Eli Stowers, who announced his intention to sign with the Texas A&M Aggies early last week. Although February of 2021 feels like a lifetime away (or maybe just December of 2021 at this point), Fisher may have already locked up the most important recruit of the 2021 class.
