One of the criticisms of the 2018 Texas A&M football team, and now the 2019 team with so many starters gone from that team that went 9-4, was its depth. A&M was loaded with experience last season but didn’t offer much behind those starters. That problem has compounded with five starters on offense and seven on defense graduating or heading to the NFL.
Fisher has gone to work mitigating the problem by recruiting the hell out of his first full class cycle. The Aggies finished No. 4 in the class on the 247 Sports Composite, the highest ranking in school history.
