Tight end Jace Sternberger made one heck of an impact in his one and only season with Texas A&M football. The transfer who began his career at Kansas before heading to Northeastern Oklahoma was a shot of life into the Aggie offense.
We knew Jimbo Fisher would utilize the tight end more often than Kevin Sumlin, a lot more, but I don’t think anyone anticipated the kind of magical season Sternberger produced. He wound up leading the Aggies in receptions, yards, touchdowns and yards per reception. He was by far the most reliable and consistent weapon for Kellen Mond.
