As a proud Aggie Letterman, I received my update from Assistant Athletics Director Cathy Capps. Most everyone already knew that Dameyune Craig was on the staff, but in what capacity was never really confirmed. That all ended on January 3.
Craig was born in Mobile, Alabama. He helped lead Mattie T. Blount High School to two state championships in 1990 and 1992. Craig would take his talents to Auburn playing for coach Terry Bowden. He would redshirt in 1993 during Auburn’s undefeated season. He would be the backup to starter Patrick Nix in 1994 and 1995.
