Christian Kirk has announced he will forgo his senior season and will instead declare for the 2018 NFL Draft. Kirk ends his Texas A&M career as the school leader in punt return touchdowns, six, and finishes second all-time in receptions, 234. He scored 30 total touchdowns in thee seasons with the Aggies. He’s also the only Aggie to return multiple punts for touchdowns in the same game.
There would have been no shame in Kirk sitting out the Belk Bowl against Wake Forest. His coach had been fired and his team had nothing to play for. He not only played, but he fought through an ankle injury suffered midway through the contest.
