One of the best traditions in all of sports, Texas A&M Football has finally named its 12th man for the 2019 season.
That 12th man will be Braden White, a junior linebacker.
Earlier in the offseason Jimbo Fisher announced that the 12th man would be the captain of the special teams unit. The 12th man, per Fisher, would go to the player that brings the most consistent, best effort on a day-in and day-out basis.
White will take over the 12th man spot from Cullen Gillaspia, who wore the number for 38 games. Gillaspia was originally a walk-on linebacker, who moved to offense, eventually getting drafted by the Houston Texans.
