Kevin Sumlin earned the verbal commitments of more than a dozen players in the 2018 Texas A&M football recruiting class. A few of those players decommited and went elsewhere, but the vast majority of those guys stuck with the school and signed their letter of intents to become Aggies.
Three of those players to weather the storm of uncertainty were teammates from Manvel High School in Texas – safety Brian Johnson, running back Deneric Prince and wide receiver Jalen Preston. All three should make an impact on the field for Texas A&M soon.
Johnson is a 3-star recruit.
