Texas A&M football had their back against the wall heading into their matchup against Alabama, the top-ranked team in the country, and unfortunately they were not able to pull out an improbable upset win over the Crimson Tide.
In the early stages of the game, the Aggies did a solid job of somewhat keeping up with the Tide’s electric pace, as they entered the half trailing by just eleven. However, the Tide slowly pulled away, putting up ten and thirteen points in the third and fourth quarters en route to a nineteen point win.
Despite letting up 47 points, which is an astounding number, the Aggies showed some flashes on defense, particularly when they intercepted Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for the first time all season.
