Texas A&M Football had been on a steady downhill slide in the AP Poll rankings ever since their week two loss to Clemson, and that slide hit an absolute rock bottom following the Aggies’ game against Alabama, as A&M has now fallen out of the AP Top-25 Poll for the first time in the 2019 season.
The Aggies began the season ranked at number 12, due to a large amount of returning talent and a strong finish to an 8-4 season in 2018. The Aggies had very high expectations coming into the season, with perhaps the only knock against them being their tough schedule, which included games against Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn.
