The 2020 recruiting cycle has not been nearly as fruitful early on for Texas A&M football. Where most of the 2019 class committed before and just after the Maroon And White Game, the Aggies currently sit at just six verbal commitments and rank No. 21 in the 2020 class.
Aggie fans were holding out hope several of the top prospects in the class were simply taking their time, but some of those top recruits have gone by the wayside recently. Quarterback Malik Hornsby, who some thought had given a hand shake agreement to the Ags early in the 2018 season, committed to North Carolina.
