When Jimbo Fisher was hired by Texas A&M football for a whopping 10 years and $75 million, the expectations were clear: National Championship or bust.

Fair or not, that has to be the goal when you make a head coach one of the highest paid coaches in all of college football. Fisher hasn’t shied away from that and went full steam into the recruiting process. So much so, in fact, that he didn’t have time to sign his contract right away.

It’s paying off. The Aggies are ranked No. 2 in the 2019 recruiting class and No.
