Texas A&M Football has built what looks to be a spectacular 2020 recruiting class, but one of the biggest names in that class will not play a single game this season.
That player is five-star wide receiver Demond Demas. Demas is the second-ranked wide receiver in the country and the #13 overall prospect in the Class of 2020.
The ruling of Demas’ ineligibility is because of an error in his transfer papers. Demas was set to transfer from Houston North Forest, where he played the first three seasons of his high school career, to Tomball High School, another Houston area school, for his senior season.
