Texas A&M football had one of the better tight end coaches and recruiters on their coaching staff for Jimbo Fisher’s first season. Tim Brewster is very active on Twitter, often to the glorious chagrin of our rivals, and clearly did well with First-Team All-American Jace Sternberger.
So it was a little disheartening when Brewster announced he would be joining Mack Brown in his second tour with North Carolina. It made a whole lot of sense. As much as Brewster has a history with Fisher in their six years together, he has even more history with Brown. Brewster was an assistant coach with Brown for nine seasons at North Carolina and four more at Texas.
