The Texas A&M football season starts tonight. It’s an exciting time to be an Aggie as the Jimbo Fisher era begins and the hype has never been more real. It’s not every year a national championship-winning head coach takes over your program starving for greatness.
Kevin Sumlin had all the keys to take A&M to the next level: top rate facilities, a recruiting hot bed and a fan base that was behind him 100 percent, for the first couple of seasons anyways.
Unfortunately, Sumlin had too many deficiencies to be successful in the rough and tumble SEC West.
