Texas A&M football has a rich history of producing high-end NFL Draft selections dating all the way back to 1938. That year Roy Young, a former Texas A&M offensive tackle, became the first Aggie ever drafted when he was chosen by the Washington Redskins in the fifth round.
In total, Texas A&M has had 237 players selected in the NFL Draft. Those players range from No. 1 overall (Myles Garrett in 2017) to five different players selected in the 17th round, dating back to as early as 1943.
Texas A&M isn’t just getting players drafted, they’re producing upper-tier talent.
