Jimbo Fisher brought a national championship pedigree to Texas A&M football, a program with fresh, $400 million renovations to Kyle Field, updated and fancy locker room and state of the art practice facilities, all that plus being the only Texas school in the best conference in college football gives Fisher plenty of tools to sell to high school recruits.
It was the perfect storm for Fisher’s first full recruiting cycle with the Aggies. All he did was recruit the highest-rated class in Aggie history (at least since they began tracking these things) in 2019. The class was led by blue chip recruits such as DeMarvin Leal, Kenyon Green, Baylor Cupp and Brian Williams who could be the start of something truly special in Aggieland.
