The biggest riser on the Texas A&M Basketball roster last season, Wendell Mitchell will likely play an even bigger role in the 2019-20 season.
Mitchell, a JUCO transfer from Rockdale, Texas, averaged 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game last season.
A guard, Mitchell was an efficient scorer, capable rebounder, and sneaky good passer at times last season.
This season, due to a lack of depth on the Aggies roster, Mitchell will need to find a way to improve each statistic.
With Jay Jay Chandler at point guard, Mitchell will need to do a better job of complementing Chandler’s play.
