After being a victim of the vicious transfer market with the departure of Admon Gilder to Gonzaga, Texas A&M Basketball has a big chance to redeem themselves with an addition of their own.
That potential addition is Quentin Grimes, a transfer from Kansas.
Grimes, a former McDonald’s All-American and five-star recruit, started all 36 games for the Jayhawks last season.
A shooting guard, Grimes averaged 8.4 points and two assists per game for Kansas last season. Grimes did not quite perform to expectations as an elite recruit but is a very talented guard with NBA potential.
