Billy Kennedy came under fire during Texas A&M basketball‘s 1-8 start in SEC play (8-13 overall), and rightly so. Even though the Aggies were not expected to compete for a spot in the NCAA Tournament, or maybe even the NIT, they weren’t expected to be as bad as that start.
It hit rock bottom in a 23-point home loss to Missouri in which the Aggies only scored 43 points and Kennedy sat some of the players in the second half for having a bad week in practice.
Some already thought Kennedy underachieved as a whole before this season.
