Most of the players at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas won’t actually play in the NBA unless they were a high draft pick simply looking to adjust their game to the NBA level. Undrafted free agent and former Texas A&M basketball wing DJ Hogg is of the “most” category and so far it’s not looking great.
Hogg didn’t even play in the New Orleans Pelicans’ opener at the Summer League. They decided to give him an opportunity in Game 2 and Hogg played 14 minutes off the bench. He finished 2-for-7 with six points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.
