It seemed like the sky was falling for Texas A&M basketball just a few short weeks ago. The season ended with a disappointing 14-18 record, the now departed Scott Woodward fired Billy Kennedy, and all recruits who had committed in the 2019 class asked for their release from that commitment.
For a program that was ascending and went through without a doubt the most successful decade in school history prior to this last season, it wasn’t looking good.
Thankfully, Woodward provided the Aggies a parting gift before bolting to LSU at first beck and call.
