It’s puzzling how players can go sometimes years on the bench in the NBA before getting an opportunity to show how valuable they can be to a franchise. You see it all the time. All they ever need is that opportunity, but for one reason or another, they never get it. This has happened to former Texas A&M basketball player Alex Caruso with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite playing very well in the summers and in the G-League, Caruso has rarely been given a shot to prove he is worth a spot in the Lakers rotation.
